This research introduces a new approach to ecological monitoring that utilizes knowledge-adaptive edge expert agents, reducing reliance on cloud resources and enhancing performance in variable environments. By collaborating with biologists and Indigenous communities, the project promotes ethical AI practices in ecosystem management.
