Researchers have developed a new benchmark, MM-CreativityBench, to assess the creative problem-solving abilities of large multimodal models (LMMs) in visually rich environments. The study highlights current LMMs' limitations in sustaining grounded exploration and proposes methods to improve their performance through affordance-grounded alignment and preference learning.
