MemFail is a new diagnostic benchmark designed to identify and isolate failure modes in large language model (LLM) memory systems, which are crucial for maintaining consistency in long-term interactions. By evaluating various memory systems through targeted datasets, MemFail aims to enhance understanding of the trade-offs in memory architecture designs.
