A study evaluated the quality of AI-generated transcriptomic research outputs in non-small cell lung cancer, comparing native AI models to those augmented with medical research skills. While skill-augmented outputs showed a slight quality improvement, the results were not statistically significant, indicating the need for further research in this area.
